Dr. Qining Wang is a Scientific Investigator with Maidstone Consulting Group, LLC. Qining specializes in material chemistry and sustainability research for energy-related applications. Her doctoral research focused on synthesizing organic-inorganic hybrid materials that serve as heterogeneous catalysts to reduce energy consumption in chemical production. She acquired various material characterization techniques, including X-ray, UV-, and IR-based spectroscopies, and extensive catalytic testing experience.
For her post-doctoral research, Qining expanded her research scope to incorporate data-driven approaches in exploring the role of hydrogen in decarbonizing the U.S. energy system. The highly interdisciplinary nature of her scientific endeavor makes her proficient in analyzing diverse data types, ranging from interpreting spectra obtained from different instrumentation to distilling information from large datasets.
Qining earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from Northwestern University and her B.A. in chemistry from Rutgers University.
