Dr. Louisa Savereide is a consultant with Maidstone Consulting Group LLC. With over ten years of experience in heterogeneous catalysis and chemical engineering research, her technical expertise includes reactor design and construction, catalyst synthesis (including air-free techniques), imaging (STEM-EDX, TEM), spectroscopy (XAS, DRUV-vis, XPS, etc.), and additional catalyst characterization techniques (TPR, TGA, BET, XRD, etc.). She is also interested in promoting international scientific collaboration and has worked as an intern at the National Academy of Sciences of Costa Rica and volunteered at an NGO in Bolivia.
Louisa is currently based at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where she serves as the research coordinator at the EPFL Energy Center, guiding the formation of projects in the field of energy. She has in-depth knowledge of the grant writing and submission process for small- and large-scale collaborative projects. She received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and her BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
