Until June 2022, Corinna was a Senior Compliance Specialist for the Office for Research Integrity at Northwestern University and an Adjunct Professor in Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) for the McCormick School of Engineering. After completing her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Institut de Science et d’Ingenierie Supramoleculaire of the University of Strasbourg, France, she moved to the US for dual postdoctoral fellowships in Departments of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University. This extensive scientific training was followed by a fellowship at the National Academies of Engineering working in the Online Ethics Center. She returned to Northwestern both as an Instructor for their RCR curriculum and as an Investigator supporting research misconduct proceedings at the University. While there, given the importance of having a legal foundation in the compliance world, she completed a Master of Science in Law at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She has co-chaired until 2021, the Forensic Special Interest Group (FSIG) for the Association of Research Integrity Officers, a subject matter expertise consortium she co-founded establishing discourse on executing effective sequestration and analysis of research data, forensic practice and methodological innovation in research misconduct investigations.
